Worship begins in Submission
Matthew 15:8-9 these people honor me with there lips but their heart is far from me. And in vein they worship me."

• Worship begins in Submission for unless we as believers submit our hearts completely to God He will never be real to us. He will remain a distant ideology instead of a thinking feeling personality.
• When we remove ourselves from the thrones of our hearts, and Jesus takes his proper place we open the door for the miraculous. We allow God to be God.
• Just as the Bible without Christ is a dead book so to singing a hymn without a submitted heart is a dead song.
• God wants to be our all in all or He will be nothing at all.
• When we begin to realize that we where created to be worshipers of Him for all eternity, it makes sense to think if that is what we where made for, then that is what will give us the most joy.
• James 4 submit to God flee the devil and he will flee from you Draw near to God and he will draw near to you. Our submission to God through Jesus Christ ensures our spiritual victory over Satan's attacks, which in return causes us to draw near to Him who rewards us with more of Himself. Initiated by the Spirit

• Here we discover one of the great mysteries of our faith.
  • Living in God and having God in us.
• To understand the spiritual we must first have the Spirit.
  • God the great unseen reality must become our reality.
• Every person the moment they put their faith in Christ is indwelled with the Spirit of God. Therefore every believer has been given the ability to worship God by God.

• Truth is not a thing to be obtained but a person to be worshiped for Jesus himself is the Truth
• Everybody worships something but true worship can only be found in true worshipers, that is those who have submitted themselves to Jesus and been indwelt by His Spirit.
• Jesus defines truth by His very being for it is who He is. Therefore we worship God by God Through God.
• Christ in us defines our worship of Him by defining us in Him

• You see the purpose of Christianity is that we might know Him. For worship is an acknowledgement of who God is. It is an expression of love to the One who first loved us.
• We cannot love Him if we do not know Him, and we cannot know Him if we do not spend time with Him.
• So let us enter to this sacred romance and worship the King.

1. He deserves it
   Revelations 4:10 - "you are worthy O lord to receive glory honor and power for you created all things and by Your will they exist and were created"
2. He desires it
   John 4:23-24 - the hour is coming and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in Spirit and in truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him"
3. He designed us for it
   1Peter 2:9 - You are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a Holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.
4. He demands it
   Isaiah 43:21 - This people I have formed for myself. They shall declare my praise
