Testimony: My testimony started during a Billy Graham crusade on television in 1963. I remember watching my mother get down on her knees in front of a black and white television and ask Jesus to be her Lord and Savior. The next thing I knew we were all going to church. We ended up at Emmanuel Faith Community Church in Escondido, California. That’s where, at the age of nine years old I asked Jesus Christ to come into my heart.
My life as a child and young adult was filled with hurt and the consequences of bad decisions. After one failed marriage, I married my dear sweet wife Carmela; we were both 34 years old. We became a blended family and we began to experience all the difficulties it brings. At the age of 42 years my life changed radically, my right leg was severely broken and the recovery took three years and three surgeries to repair. I didn’t understand at the time that the Lord had other plans for me. God used my broken leg to begin a changing process in me.
I started serving the Lord full time at Calvary Chapel Temecula in 1997 as the church secretary and was ordained a pastor in December of 2000. I came to Revival Christian Fellowship in 2002 as a children’s ministry assistant. Today I am serving the Lord as an associate pastor within pastoral care. I am so pleased and thankful to our Lord for what He has accomplished in me and my family.
I would also like to say thank you Lord for my mother who got down on her knees so many years ago. I would also like to say thank you Lord for my praying wife who never gave up on me, she is my best friend. I would like to say thank you Lord for my very special Dad who just loved me and who is a gift to my family. I would also like to say thank you Lord for my two sons and my daughter-in-law who gave me three grandchildren; they are a gift from the Lord.
